RESEARCH / DATA / AI

Clear thinking. Connected delivery.

Complex questions.
Clear direction.

Research the question.
Build what comes next.

We connect research, data and technology to help organizations understand what matters—and put that understanding to work.

01 — CONNECTED CAPABILITIES

Understand deeply.
Move deliberately.

The research to see what matters. The technical expertise to make the next step work.

RESEARCH & EVIDENCE

Find the signal.

Understand markets, people and programmes through a clear methodology, documented analysis and findings your team can act on.

AI, DIGITAL & ENTERPRISE

Make it work.

Turn information into useful systems. Connect AI, applications and business workflows with integration, adoption and operational ownership in view.

03 — A DIFFERENT WAY TO WORK

The right expertise.
On your side.

You don’t need to build every capability in-house. Bring us a question, a brief or a complex challenge. We’ll shape a considered approach around the outcome you need.

04 — CONTEXT MATTERS

Different worlds.
The same attention.

Your stakeholders, operating model and constraints shape the work. The method follows the context.

05 — HOW WE THINK

Considered.
From the outset.

01

Outcome first

Define the decision, deliverable and acceptance criteria before choosing the method or technology.

02

Evidence in the open

Document sources, assumptions and limitations so the reasoning can be understood and reviewed.

03

Connected expertise

Keep research findings, data definitions and implementation decisions connected between disciplines.

04

Clear ownership

Agree responsibilities, review points, scope changes and handover from the beginning.

06 — FROM QUESTION TO OUTCOME

Progress, with
a clear process.

  1. 01

    Understand

Clarify the question, stakeholders and success criteria. Establish what is known and what needs to be learned.

  2. 02

    Design

Agree the methodology, workplan, resources and quality controls. Make assumptions and dependencies explicit.

  3. 03

    Execute

Carry out the research, analysis or engineering, with a record of material decisions.

  4. 04

    Validate

Review the evidence, test the system and investigate discrepancies before final delivery.

  5. 05

    Deliver

Hand over the agreed outputs. Explain the findings, limitations and decisions they support.

  6. 06

    Support

Where included, provide training, implementation help or ongoing support with clear ownership.

07 — THINKING, SHARED

A little perspective.
A better next step.

08 — BEFORE WE BEGIN

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Scope, procurement and what working together looks like.

What does Descriptive Research Consultancy do?

Descriptive brings together research, data analysis, AI development, digital systems and enterprise operations. Engagements start with the decision or deliverable you need, then define the expertise, methodology, quality checks and handover required to complete the work.

Can we outsource an entire research project?

Yes. A project can cover scoping, research design, questionnaire development, fieldwork, data preparation, analysis, reporting and presentation. The proposal specifies the included stages, client inputs, review points and final outputs. You can also commission only the stages where your team needs support.

Can you respond to a TOR, RFP or tender invitation?

Send the requirement document, submission deadline, procurement instructions and evaluation criteria. We review the fit, clarify material questions and develop an appropriate technical and commercial response. Submitting a brief does not commit you to an engagement.

Do you work with international organizations?

The service offering is designed for companies, NGOs, public institutions and research teams, including buyers in Europe, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia. Geographic coverage, working hours, languages, field access and any country-specific requirements are agreed for each assignment.

Can you combine data collection and analysis?

Yes. Keeping the questionnaire, data structure and analysis plan connected helps make collected information usable. We can scope survey programming, collection, quality checks, cleaning, statistical or qualitative analysis and reporting together, with ownership and access arrangements agreed up front.

Do you provide monitoring and evaluation services?

The offering includes results frameworks, baseline and endline studies, programme reviews and process, outcome and impact evaluations. The approach depends on the evaluation questions and available evidence. A before-and-after comparison alone does not establish that an intervention caused an observed change.

Can you develop practical AI solutions?

AI engagements can include knowledge assistants, document processing, predictive models and workflow integration. We begin with the task, data access and acceptance criteria. Testing, human oversight and an operating plan are part of the scope; model outputs should be evaluated against the intended use.

Can research lead into a working digital system?

Yes. A customer study can inform a service redesign; a data audit can lead to a reporting pipeline; an operational assessment can lead to a workflow application. Connecting these stages makes the evidence, design decisions and implementation requirements easier to trace.

Can we retain Descriptive as an ongoing partner?

An ongoing engagement can provide specialist capacity or a defined managed function. Agree the scope, service hours, responsibilities, reporting, change process and exit arrangements before starting. Capacity and service levels are confirmed in the contract, not assumed from a standard package.

What should we include in a first enquiry?

Share the objective, intended decisions, expected deliverables, location, deadline, available data and procurement process. Include a budget range if available. If the scope is still developing, explain the problem and the outcome you want to achieve so the initial discussion can focus on useful choices.
